As an notable libertarian in Korea, Prof. Shin is an expert in Karl Popper's Philosophy. He translated Friedrich Hayek's 'The Fatal Conceit' into Korean and also compiled Milton Friedman's Free to Choose' into easy words for students in order to spread libertarian ideas more effectively among young generations.
